pOTENTIAL EVENTS:

Twickenham Brewery:  Checked out ok. Can arrange with Tom South (Brewer). Maximum Group size:25. Tom would also do small groups. Generally conducted on a Wednesday evening @ 6.30

 

Brooklands Museum:  Can arrange with Tanya, as am a Club Member (Group of 15 normally required)

 

Kempton Steam Museum: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Industrial history museum with massive working 1920's

Steam Engine (World's largest); Miniature Railway too!

Building dates back to 1897

 

The Homewood:  A modernist architect's gem. Family Villa & Garden. NT property. Entry only via Claremont minibus

Fridays only and ideally 15 person maximum per tour

 

Morden Hall:  Summer visit to tour grounds. Would be a gentle walk through grounds and along River Wardle  (approx 2 hours)

 

Eltham Palace & Gardens:  Henry V111 childhood home, and from 1930's the Courtaulds. Group sizes from 11 - 25; Mottingham station nearby

 

Blue Badge Walks:  Opportunity to arrange London walks with experienced lady guide  (City of London/Soho etc)
