Roger Barton
Chairman
Roger graduated from Bradford University, then majored in the Motor Industry, working with clients to improve their Customer Communication systems and skills. He created his own Agency to supply Manufacturers and their Dealers with systems and management training in the UK, USA and Australia.
He also managed hospitality events for his clients.
Simon Eyles
Vice Chairman
For a number of years, Simon worked as a senior IT and Telecommunications Manger for a parking company.
Also, Simon worked in Adult Education for 27 years as a tutor teaching
people how to use computers.

Dick Moore
Hon Secretary
Dick started his working life as an apprentice carpenter and joiner, then became a work study engineer for the GLC. He moved to a position of management consultant for the London Teaching Hospitals and worked at Region, Area and District in the NHS. His career ended as a senior manager at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey. Since retiring he has done a lot of family history research and travelled the world to Europe, South Africa, China and USA, where his son lives.
Edmund Woolley
Speaker secretary
Edmund studied at Manchester College of Art for 3 years, then did National Service in the RAF. He subsequently worked in design studios in Manchester. He emigrated (sailed) to Canada in 1969. After 4 years in Toronto, he returned to England via the USA, Mexico, British Honduras and Jamaica.
On retirement, he took up oil painting. One of his paintings was 'shortlisted' for the Royal Academy. He was invited to Buckingham Palace for design work for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
Glen Ross
Treasurer
Glen’s career started in Christchurch, New Zealand. He completed an apprenticeship in jewellery manufacturing in the 60s, and ran his own business in the '70s.
He worked for the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1984 and was posted to Ottawa, Moscow and finally London, where he retired in 2012.

Chris Webborn
Events Secretary
Chris has spent the majority of his career in manufacturing after his research degree at Imperial College in London. The major sectors included interior components for the Automotive industry, composites for Aerospace, supplying to Airbus, Boeing and Rolls-Royce and industrial sensors for the nuclear industry worldwide.
Chris retired in December 2021, is married to Liz and lives in Twickenham.
